Scholarship for post graduate study
The Nepal Medical Association has been providing various scholarship supported by different organization to its members and their children. In the October 1999 issue of the Nepal Medical Association Newsletter, the details of the scholarship provided to the children of the late Nepal Medical Association members and the MBBS students were published. Following are the scholarships provided to the Nepal Medical Association members for their postgraduate education.
Scholarship by DJPL
An agreement for scholarship for Nepal Medical Association (NMA) members in postgraduate studies was signed on 18th December 1999 between Nepal Medical Association and Deurali-Janta Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. According to the agreement DJPL will provide a scholarship worth Rs. 3,500/- (In words, Rs.Three thousands five hundred only) per month through Nepal Medical Association. NMA members enrolled in the post-graduate studies, who are not receiving any financial support are the eligible candidates for this scholarship.
